Who We Are?

KARAT Technical Services, began operations as a small service company, repairing many types of commercial food equipment within the Toronto and surrounding market area. Over the years our business model has expanded to include equipment rebuilding, preventive maintenance programs, and installation of small to large scale restaurant kitchens. We now also provide ordering/distribution of parts and warranty support for several major manufacturers.

Our employees have an average tenure of Over 10 years, making them an incredible resource of product and industry knowledge (GMP Food Safety Audits – Good Manufacturing Practices). Our people are highly specialized and experts with food equipment (Commercial and Industrial), refrigeration, heating, cooling, electrical and mechanical work, from installation through training, and after-sales, service and support.

Installation and repairs are annually services as per customer request and we provide prevention services whilst following the Government of Ontario’s regulations as per the TSSA Safety Standard. We provide environmentally friendly services and our employees are highly-trained employees that work in our establishment and we provide our services and complete all tasks in a timely fashion.
